Flower rota

Flowers in church, sorted every Sunday

KerkPoint is an online scheduling platform for churches, from €9.99 per month. The flower team sees who arranges and who delivers the flowers afterwards, and gets a reminder in time.

A small task with a big gesture

The flowers at the front of the church, and afterwards taking them to someone who is ill or has something to celebrate: in many churches that is a cherished tradition. The rota for it often lives in a notebook or in one person's head. If that person drops out, nobody knows whose turn it is.

Two tasks in one rota

In KerkPoint you create a role for arranging and a role for delivering the flowers. Per service you schedule the people. The rota is online, so the sexton or the church office can also see who is doing the flowers this week.

Reminders and swaps

From the Plus plan everyone gets a reminder before the Sunday. Anyone who cannot make it asks for a swap themselves; someone else takes over with one click. So nobody has to phone round on Saturday.

Shared fairly

Let KerkPoint fill the rota: everyone takes their turn, and anyone on holiday is skipped. You see who has had their turn often lately, so the arranging does not always fall to the same person.

The flower rota is part of your church's volunteer schedule. Also see the sexton schedule and the coffee rota, or try the demo.

Everyone knows when it is their turn

Volunteers get an e-mail or notification when they are scheduled and a reminder beforehand. Can they not make it? They ask for a swap and someone else takes over with one tap.

Every service has a description you fill in yourself. That is where you can note who the flowers are for. Only put in what is needed, especially when it concerns someone's health.

Yes. Holidays are simply services in the schedule. That way you know well in advance who is doing the flowers for Easter, Pentecost or Christmas.
