Coffee after the service is a task too
For many churches, coffee after the service is the moment people really talk to each other. It does take two or three people every week who come early, make the coffee, serve and wash up. If that rota is on a piece of paper in the kitchen, nobody knows whose turn it is next week.
In KerkPoint coffee is simply a role at the service. You set how many helpers are needed and see per Sunday whether the team is complete.
Everyone takes a fair turn
Add the regular helpers to the role and let KerkPoint fill the coming months. Everyone takes their turn, and anyone who said they are on holiday is skipped. You also see who has served often lately, so the work does not always land on the same people.
Reminders and swaps
From the Plus plan helpers get an e-mail when they are scheduled, and a reminder just before the Sunday. If someone cannot make it after all, they ask for a swap themselves and someone else takes over with one click. Logging in works with a link by e-mail, without a password, which saves explaining to older volunteers.
An overview for the kitchen
Still want something on paper? Print the monthly overview as a PDF and hang it next to the coffee machine. The current rota is always online, on the phone too.
The coffee rota is part of your complete volunteer schedule. Arranging the welcome at the door too? Have a look at the welcome team schedule. See the prices or try the demo.
