The sexton schedule, a problem of its own
The sexton schedule is often the one that gets out of step first. Services move, a funeral or wedding comes in between, someone is on holiday. With a paper list or a separate spreadsheet that means calling, texting and hoping everyone has seen the latest version.
In KerkPoint the sexton schedule is linked to your service schedule. Create a service and the "sexton" role comes with it automatically. You assign someone, or let the system suggest who is next based on the previous times.
Availability up front, no surprises afterwards
Sextons mark for themselves when they cannot serve. When you schedule, you see at a glance who is available. That way you do not schedule someone who had already said they could not come, and the puzzling happens before the schedule is done instead of after.
Automatic reminders
As soon as the schedule is ready, every sexton is told about their services. Shortly before the service a reminder follows. You no longer have to chase anyone, and "I forgot" hardly ever happens any more.
Several buildings and locations
If your church has several buildings, you keep a sexton schedule per location. A sexton who serves at two locations simply sees both. The overview stays one whole.
Everything in their own calendar
With the Premium plan every sexton adds their personal schedule to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook with their own iCal link. When the planning changes, the calendar changes with it. No more separate overview that goes out of date.
The sexton schedule is part of your complete church schedule. Arranging the music too? Have a look at the organist schedule. See the prices or try the demo.
