Your church's first impression
A visitor who comes in for the first time mainly remembers who greeted them. That is why many churches have a welcome team: people at the door who hand out a bulletin or booklet and help new faces find their way. That only works if someone is really there at every service.
The schedule is linked to the service
In KerkPoint welcome is a role at every service. You set how many people are needed and schedule them. For an extra service, such as a funeral or a wedding, you see straight away that the welcome team is still empty.
Availability in advance
Team members tick which Sundays they cannot serve. If you let KerkPoint fill the schedule, they are skipped on those days and everyone takes their turn. So you do not have to ask round who is away in the summer.
Reminders and swaps without a group chat
From the Plus plan everyone gets an e-mail when scheduled and a reminder before the service. If someone cannot make it after all, they ask for a swap; someone else takes over with one click. The person making the schedule is notified and the schedule is updated straight away.
The welcome team is part of your church's volunteer schedule. Add the coffee rota and the sexton schedule, or try the demo.
