Online giving

Online giving for churches, straight to the church's account

A QR code on the screen, in the order of service and on your website. Members choose the cause and an amount, pay with iDEAL, Wero or a card, and the money goes straight into the church's own Mollie account.

How online giving works in KerkPoint

  1. Connect the church's Mollie account in the settings. No account yet? You create one for free at Mollie.
  2. Set the collection causes per service, as you already do in the offering schedule.
  3. The QR code appears by itself in the presentation on the screen, in the order of service on the phone and in the collection widget on your website.
  4. The member scans, fills in and pays: the causes of this service are ready, an amount per cause is one tap, and it is all one payment.
  5. The total per cause is in KerkPoint; the payouts and the full overview are in the church's Mollie dashboard.

The money goes straight to the church

Every gift is a payment on the church's own Mollie account. Mollie pays the money out to the church's bank account, just like for an online shop. KerkPoint creates the payment, but the money never passes through us. The treasurer stays in charge of the income and nothing has to be transferred on.

Giving during the service and at home

Fewer and fewer people carry cash. With a QR code on the screen, everyone with a phone can give at the moment of the collection. The same link is in the order of service on the phone, so people following the livestream can give to that Sunday's collection too. The collection widget puts the giving button on your own church website.

No app, no account

The QR code opens a simple giving page with your church's name. Members install or create nothing: choose the cause, choose an amount, pay in the familiar environment of their bank.

Privacy: only what is needed

Of a gift, KerkPoint stores only the amount, the cause and the service. No names, no bank details: as with a bank transfer, those are only in the church's Mollie account. Read how KerkPoint handles personal data.

Costs

The church pays Mollie a fixed fee per payment, directly to Mollie. KerkPoint charges nothing for it: online giving is included in every plan. If a cause already has its own payment link, KerkPoint uses that one.

Every goal in one payment

Members scan the QR code, fill in an amount for each collection goal and pay the total at once with iDEAL or Wero. The money goes straight to the Mollie account of the church.
